The Issue Regarding Tsutanuma

During the autumn foliage season, the high volume of visitors to Tsutanuma creates a range of problems, including overcrowding, incidents on the viewing deck, damage to vegetation, traffic congestion, and roadside parking.
To address these issues, the Around Lake Towada Counter Congestion Council has introduced advance reservations for early-morning time slots and a cooperation fee to manage visitor numbers. Staff are also on hand at the viewing deck and on the roads to ease congestion. Your fees make this initiative possible. Thank you for your support.
